Digipak Adverts

This is a digipak advert for Rihanna's album LOUD it works well as a digipak advert as it gives all the vital information needed for fans of Rihanna to purchase her album, such as 'COMING NOVEMBER 16,2010' this information clearly tells fans that her album will be released on that date. Also there is a list of the songs on the album which means the fans know exactly what they are getting when purchasing this album digipak. The picture on the advert sticks to the theme of Rihanna's album which reinforces to the audience and fans that this is Rihanna without having to read the advert, they can just look at the picture and recognise her image. The colour to this advert is key, as the album of 'LOUD' is centred around the colour of red. As the
advert contains only a picture of the artist it communicates to the audience that this album is personal to the artist, this is also reinforced by the the layout as the picture of the artist is not covered by any text or other images, making it clear to the audeince who the artist is. To maximise the visibility of the text the advert has a black colour at the bottom of the advert which makes the text visible as it is white on a blackground this makes it clear to the audience that the artist is Rihanna, and her new album is called LOUD.

This is a digipak advert for Two Door Cinema Club for their song This is the life, this is a very simple digipak advert, this is achieved by the simple and clear lettering which tells the audience when they can download the song, and what form of media they can buy, either 7", CD or Digital Download. The image used is very distinct which means audiences can associate that image with the band, making this a well presented digipak advert. The advert uses different fonts to its advantage and to intregue and engage the audience, as it utilises scarbble pieces to spell out the name of the band, TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB, this makes the bands name stand out as the rest of the advert uses a plain white font on top of a brick background. The picture of a female mime artist clown works with the quirky look of the advert because of the brick work and scrabble pieces, this communicates to the audience that the band is different to other bands and means the audience will be able to clear indentify that this band is TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB.
